Johan Isaksson is head of engineering at Bryntum and the code architect behind its products. He is responsible for architecture, code review, performance, and styling across the whole component range. Much of that work is the part customers never see directly: reviewing pull requests, recording performance profiles, and tweaking CSS until a component feels right at scale. Johan is based in Gävle, Sweden. He taught for more than five years and worked as a full stack consultant for ten before moving to JavaScript full time, and he has spent the last nine years as a lead developer on Bryntum's components. Away from the keyboard he watches hockey and plays floorball.
