Our blazing fast Grid component built with pure JavaScript
Hi There
Happy new year!
We have implemented a custom memory StateProvider
that backs onto our API. It's generally working really well, with the exception of Grouped Headers (https://www.bryntum.com/products/grid/examples/groupedheaders/).
When a user drags and drops a column from one group to another the state is not preserved using our StateProvider setup. When we restore the state the column will revert to its 'default' parent. I'm guessing this is due to the data not being held within the GridStateClass
column array entries? How can we get this data into the state, persist the change of parent column and restore it?
We're using vue & typescript, but a native JS example would be great.
Thanks in advance,
Oliver
Hi,
This has been 'Read for a review' for months now, I asked for an update via GitHub... no response.
Can we have an update on this? I've been promising customers this is going to be patched for months now...
Hey dko,
Thanks for your patience. I pinged our dev team for updates on this issue, so it should be updated soon!
When you say you 'pinged' your dev team... was that message sent via carrier pigeon?
Hey,
Kind of.
Just let someone on the review team check on that ticket as we have users waiting for that ticket to be released.
Any update anyone? I must admit I'm starting to loose patience...
Hi,
Apologies for long waiting. I informed PM, we will do all required to finish it ASAP.
