i want to save wbs to database , and another application need read wbs value from the database.
I have two question.
1. how to post wbs to server. since its a calculate field, it seems not to be post to server.
2. how to let server know all the changed wbs. for example, once one record change its wbs, its children's wbs should be posted to server

This is something you have to handle yourself then, to add a new custom WBS field which does what you want. Should not be very tricky actually.

No, afraid not. We could create one but it would be a Professional Services engagement. Please contact sales at bryntum for a quote if interested.

Haven't heard it a lot before, you can easily save it by overriding the 'serialize' method on the Field class though.

I too received the same requirement of "saving wbs code to database" from Bryntum Extjs Gantt Chart.
Please help with a way forward

We provide you with a column that calculates it, all you have to do is to save this value in a data field of yours.
