We can’t wait for your users to enjoy the benefits of Bryntum Scheduler and improve their productivity!

We haven’t forgotten about the developer experience, either. Our new step-by-step migration guide takes the guesswork out of migrating from DevExtreme to Bryntum Scheduler and makes the process quick and easy.

What does the migration process entail?

The starting point of the migration process is a DevExtreme Scheduler Next.js app using a Sequelize ORM with a local SQLite database. The steps will remain similar for other React frameworks.

We’ll walk you through creating database tables for a new Bryntum Scheduler and provide the code to migrate your existing DevExtreme Scheduler data to these tables. Next, we’ll show you how to create API endpoints for the backend and install a Bryntum Scheduler component that includes a React wrapper. The final step is to run the app and test the migration.

At the end of the migration, you’ll have a fully functional Bryntum Scheduler integrated into your Next.js app, with your data from DevExtreme Scheduler.
