Nigel White is lead UI engineer at Bryntum and a specialist in data-centric, highly dynamic user interfaces. He works on Bryntum Core and Bryntum Calendar, and owns the focus handling and accessibility work that runs through every component, which is what decides whether a scheduling interface can be driven from the keyboard and read by a screen reader. He came to JavaScript by way of Ext JS, Java and SQL, and that long background in data-heavy business applications shows in how he approaches rendering and interaction at scale. He also works across Node.js, CSS and UI design.
