Hello, it’s Arsalan here, and what a year 2025 has been. As we close another chapter, I’m pleased to share Bryntum’s journey through a year of growth, innovation, and transformation.

Beyond product development, 2025 brought significant industry shifts. The AI revolution continued to reshape workflows, we welcomed new ownership, and we established a strategic partnership with AG Grid. These changes position us well for the future and energize our plans for 2026.

On the product front, our team delivered features and enhancements that make development faster, smarter, and more intuitive. From AI-powered filtering to advanced project insights and refreshed themes, 2025 has been a year of meaningful progress, driven by your feedback and our commitment to excellence.

Achievements

Here is a snapshot of our progress in 2025, measured across team growth, delivery cadence, and customer adoption.

Team

In 2025, the team grew with the addition of Ahmad Zaheer, who joined as a JavaScript Engineer. His arrival strengthened our development capacity and supported the continued expansion of our product portfolio.

Release cadence

Throughout the year, we shipped 20 releases, including:

  • 1 major release
  • 3 minor releases
  • 16 patch releases

Engineering activity

Our engineers were busy in 2025:

  • 1,800+ GitHub issues created
  • 1,849 PRs opened
  • 1,850 PRs merged

Customer growth

In 2025, Bryntum welcomed 125 new OEM customers and 357 new EUL customers, reflecting strong market confidence in our products, consistent delivery, and sustained engineering execution. Notable additions include Ferrari, Afry, Red Bull, Anglo American, HSBC, BD, IMAX, and public service organizations such as Fire Rescue Services in Western Australia and Lithuania.

Feature updates

In 2025, we focused on expanding the depth, intelligence, and scalability of our product suite while improving usability and visual consistency.

Deeper planning and project insights

We introduced advanced project management capabilities, including time-phased assignments, cost calculations, S-curves, and improved project and task editing. These features allow teams to model, track, and analyze project execution with greater accuracy and confidence.

Intelligent data discovery

AI-powered data filtering in the Bryntum Grid.

AI-powered filtering, multi-word search, and visual highlighting across grids and task boards made it faster to locate and interpret data. Native charts and enhanced summaries reduced dependency on external tools, enabling insight directly within Bryntum components.

User experience and design

Bryntum now offers six fully CSS-variable-based themes – Svalbard, Visby, Stockholm, Material, High Contrast, and Fluent – each available in light and dark modes.
This refresh improves clarity, consistency, and accessibility while making components easier to use.
Themes are fully customizable, with clean separation of structure, giving you complete control over your app’s styling.

What’s coming in 2026

In 2026, we will continue this trajectory with a strong focus on:

  • Continued investment in modern web platform features
  • AI-assisted development and documentation
  • Further performance gains, including column virtualization
  • Simplifying onboarding through reduced and automated demos
