am evaluating this control for our need and was able to include in standalone web application. However, I noticed few issues like calendar icons not loading correctly. Not sure what is missing.

Looks like you misconfigured CSS somehow, can you please upload a small test case we can look at?

That looks like localization keys not being able to be processed and ending up in the widget.
Check the locale setting and the presence of a correct locale file. We only provide locales for En, Nl, Ru and Sv.
