Custom View of Event Editor

I am trying to modify the event editor as attached. I have tried different other solutions but nothing worked as required.
Is there anyway I can provide/set custom view to the event editor?

There are two ways of how to do it described here:

1. showResourceField:false plus your own extraItems
2. Advanced: Replace entire contents using editorConfig

Have you already tried one of the above? If so, post please your configuration so that we can examine it.
