Our flexible Kanban board for managing tasks with drag drop

Post by Gioacchino Gaudioso »

Hello Support,

We are analyzing Bryntum Task Board for our business purpose, We have some queries below:
1.How to set property to disable(read Only) any lane and same for lane item.
2.Please share link or example where we can see how to do customization while doing drag and drop. Means we need event which is called while moving item from one lane to another.

Thanks.

Hi,

  1. There is currently no such option, have opened a feature request: https://github.com/bryntum/support/issues/3049
  2. There are currently no public drag events, a feature request for that too: https://github.com/bryntum/support/issues/3050
Best regards,

Hi,

I am starting work on the read-only ticket linked above and was hoping for some more input on how you expect it to work?

I assume that for a Task, flagging it as read-only should prevent dragging and editing it using the task editor, inline editing and the context menu.

For columns and swimlanes I am not sure what behaviour we can have as a reasonable default. Should it prevent tasks from being moved to and from the column? Or prevent any kind of editing of tasks in it?

Input would be appreciated!

Best regards,
Johan Isaksson

Hi again,

I have implemented read-only tasks. Columns & swimlanes are broken out into a separate ticket, for which more info is required: https://github.com/bryntum/support/issues/3237. Please leave some input here or on the ticket

Best regards,
Johan Isaksson
