Our state of the art Gantt chart

Hi,
How can I show multiple tasks on the same row, like here?

In gantt, we have one-row-per-task. In scheduler, we can have many events for one resource, in which case the events are rendered on the same resource row. Gantt is a different story. Here each task has its own row and one continuous scheduled time range shown in the timeline.

Thanks saki.
I see that the scheduler gives me more flexibility and maybe I should move into it..
Now I'm very confused about what are the Gantt advantages over the Scheduler...

Well, they serve the different purpose so it is not that one has advantages over the other one. Scheduler is for "scheduling events" and Gantt for "managing a project." There is an article on Gantt here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gantt_chart

So it depends on what do you want to achieve. If it's assigning events (time slots) to resources, whether people, rooms, equipment, etc. then you need Scheduler.

If you want to manage tasks, starting one when it's predecessor finishes, have an info on critical paths, see what happens when one task takes longer or shorter than planned, then Gantt is for you.
