Post by rayudu.pasumarthy »

Hi,

After using the gantt, when dragging a task vertically, sometimes the gantt task overlap each other as in the video attached.

Steps to reproduce the issue in advanced example: (https://www.bryntum.com/examples/gantt/advanced/)

  1. Try to drag 'Configure ports' vertically on the gantt, no change occurs on gantt.
  2. Then drag, 'Configure ports' above 'Setup load balancer' on the grid. The task will overlap.

Any thoughts / suggestions?

Hello.
I can see the problem on the recording, but I cannot reproduce it myself. Please provide more info:
Which browser version do you use? Is touch supported? Do you run native OS or inside a VM? Does it happen constantly? Is it related to the speed of the drag action? Does it happen if reordering rows in the grid is the only action?

Hi Maxim,

We have shared RootCause feedback on the same containing all our system details. We are currently on the latest Chrome version 95.0.4638.54 on a non-touch device running on native OS. Occurs many times when the final action is grid reordering.

Regards,
Rayudu.
