In theory, absolutely - but nothing of what you see in that example is part of the Ext Scheduler component. It's just a sample showing you some thing it can be used for. So if you study our source code, and the Ext JS drag drop classes - it should be doable (perhaps by using a modifier key like CTRL to indicate that you want to drag it _out_ of the schedule).
