Emulate drag for EventEditor

Post by pietrob »

Hello,
we have used the EventEditor plugin in order to edit event in Ext Scheduler 3.0.1.
Since we have done a lot of work in customizing forms in the Plugin we would like to re-use this editor in order to insert new event in the EventStore by clicking a button in the top bar, and not by dragging in the scheduler.

The question is...
Is it possible to fire an event (by clicking on button in top bar) in order to show the EventEditor in the same way we ended a drag for a new event?

Thanks in Advance!
Pietro

Hello.
I'm not sure what is your question. Yes, you can show editor anywhere. Assuming your editor in inherited from Sch.plugin.EventEditor, you should just call this method http://www.bryntum.com/docs/scheduling/ ... ethod-show

Take a look at it's implementation and you'll get how to align editor correctly with empty record.
